The truth is that the United Methodist Church is ending the project that provides web hosting and domain services to member churches. They have arranged for churches to transition their online presence to a new company.
You may have noticed that we’ve been maintaining TWO web sites — one here and another on oxonhillumc.org . We will be working with the UMC to transition the .org site by the end of 2025.
Our ol’ trusty .com site here will be allowed to expire when our registration runs out on December 31.
Most of the updates — now that they have resumed — will be on the .org site only.
