The plans for one of the highlights of our summer are already in place. We’re loading up the bus for our annual day trip to the Sight & Sound Theater in Lancaster, Pa., for their presentation of one of the Bible’s best-known stories.
This year’s production is its greatest story — Jesus. We’re going on Friday, June 15, and we’re taking reservations. The cost of the trip is $145 and includes a show ticket, a seat on the bus, snacks during the trip and a stop for a family-style dinner after the show. The bus pulls out of the Oxon Hill UMC lot at 11:30 a.m. Showtime in Lancaster is 3 p.m., with an expected return some time around 9 p.m.
Payment will be made in four monthly installments:
• $40 by Feb. 15
• $40 by March 15
• $40 by April 15
• $25 by May 15
